Pavlyuchenko is currently in good form, especially in the cups. I think he was one of our better buys in the summer.

He's scoring goals but he's still not convinced me. He's not very good when it comes to build up play or on the counter.

We finished fifth with Keane and Defoe as a partnership so if we could get him back, with our improved midfield and defence it would be highly beneficial. Liverpool seem to be short of cash at present... swap back methinks?

The reason Chimbonda left was because he kept storming off pitches when he was substituted because he had a poor relationship with Martin Jol (At the time).

Also Harry Rednap has said he is looking into Robbie Keane but its highly unlikely because of the budget.

jones isn't the same player he used to be, he doesn't look like he wants to play for sunderland. he doesn't even bother going in for headers now. and he's 6ft 4 and still pulls out of tackles.

if push comes to shove and bent is a complete flop we could sell him in the summer and cash in on a new striker!
