Just got back from McDonalds and walking people home etc.

I was right by saying that I will support Bellamy while he's in blue. Amazing.
Bellamys contribution to the game was stunning, the most effort I've seen put in by any blue. And dam I heard he was fast but I didn't realize how fast!

Good game by the team. The referee was a joke, his linesman was giving throws, freekicks etc to City but the referee over ruled them both on many occasions!

Bellamy, I've already talked about him but I can't heap enough praise on this lad. He deserved the goal he got, will get bags when we've worked out that we've got a decent forward who wants to break away. Nice to see the reaction from Hughes and the squad.

De Jong, class. Loved his "Welcome to the game" tackles on the Geordies. He soon worked out the City fans hated Barton, he broke his ******* bone lol! And Owens! Class man, didn't foul anyone all hard but fair challenges. We conceded when he went off because he wasn't fully match fit - that says something about him. It was his debut and he cemented his place in around about 60 minutes. Don't tell me that's not class.

Barton, what the **** were you doing clapping us? **** off you arrogant thug.

Geordie fans cracked me up, "******* number 2" to Hart. Yeah? Wheres your Given gone?

Always sweeter when you know people from Newcastle.

Showing respect to the fans who used to chant your name? How dare he!

An okish result, into the top half now (but only just).

We were booing, the Geordies were not clapping him and he was clapping at the fans in the west stand.

How? You don't know me. I am untouchable, not a thug.

Barton kept you in the Premier League.
Empenza did, not Joey.

Aye it was an OK result. I'm not right fussed as long as we win, rather beat Newcastle than be a so called top four team and draw to Stoke.

Joey was your leading goalscorer the year you narrowly escaped relegation.

It doesn't matter. He could score in every game apart from the last 5, we could lose every one of those games except the last 5 by 3:1.

Empenza scored the winning goals.

No they don't.

Were 3:0 down. Barton scores. Wow 3:1?

It's 0:0. Ten minutes left. Empenza scores.

Bit unfair for Barton to get booed by the City fans, as he was easily our best player two years ago. But beating up our team mates, 16 years olds and probably next a three year old baby, is just damn right disgusting and he deserved most of them boo's.

Anyone see him lob his boot in the tunnel when he was taken off the pitch on MOTD? Lol!

Whilst I agree Barton is a complete tosspot, undeserving of the money and perks that come with being a top flight footballer, I think his passion for the game is just about the only thing he has going for him. It was purely frustrations of not being able to play again because of his injury.

he got booed becus he beat all our players up =[

good game, I thought Bellamy was excellent, his movement was superb, although i liked it how robinho and bellamy kept switching.

anyone else think Joe Kinnear is an idiot how he says on MOTD, "well we should have had a penalty but thats how football goes i guess" when City should of had like 3.

Nedum and Vince solid at the back, surely no part back in the team for Dunne

Zabaleta played great again, he was working like a player whos fighting for a place in the midfield should, he is seeming much better in midfield than right back.

i think consistency with the team is the way forward at the moment for city.

Looking on the Geordies:-

Bassong did some good tackles.

Harper didn't do anything wrong.

Damien Duff should of finished his chance easily.

Andy Carroll, even though he scored, played crap, slower than dunne.

Collocini played alright.

oh yeh, also, Geordies could only fill up half their allocation.

This was my view on the game :)

He sometimes plays for Argentina in midfield.

Joe Kinnear also said, 'There player wrestled our player to the ground' when infact Richards didn't even touch their player and it looked like their player simply fell ontop of Richards. He then went on saying 'I believe we should have got some points out of the game for how well we played in the second half'. Hes so blumming stupid.

But Bruce is a good manager, when Kinnear is average at best. Brave, though, for taking on the impossible job.
