Uefa has announced that Wembley is to host the 2011 UEFA Champions League final.
Munich's Allianz Arena and Berlin's Olympiastadion, which featured in the 2006 World Cup, were also in the running but Uefa has opted for Wembley.
The decision in favour of the home of English football was expected as a decision on the 2011 venue had been delayed to allow the UK Government time to secure an exemption on tax rules for the players appearing in the final.
Old Trafford was the last English stadium to host the showpiece event when Manchester United's ground staged the 2003 final between AC Milan and Juventus.
FA chairman Lord Triesman said: "We are delighted that Uefa has chosen Wembley Stadium to stage the Champions League Final in 2011.

Hmm should be interesting.

Arsenal will win it in then, by then most of the team would have matured and our squad is going to be unbeatble. And seeing as Wembley is only a few miles away it gives us a bigger reason to win it.

Britain only exists when the other countries contribute. Thus the 2011 European Champions League Final is in England not Britain :lol:

Wembley = London
Arsenal = London
winners = Londoners

Tbh the Arsenal squad is probably one of the best in the world, there's alot of poetential and talent but it's never displayed. When people like Theo Walcott, Febregas, Rosisky, Eduardo, Silvestre and all the others come back from injury i'm sure we'll whoop some asses, but until then I don't see a bright future in the premiership :'(

People rave on and one about these youngsters but from what I've seen, they're not Premier League winners.

The reserve team are actually much better than half of the first teams in the premiership though.

Key word.

Like the Arsenal team, they're too frail. No ball winners, just pass the ball round. We played half of them and Saturday and they're not too good. All you need to do is stick your boot in and they don't like it.

In 2011 the Arsenal team should look a bit like this;

Lloris
Sagna Djourou Toure Clichy
Ramsey Fabregas Diaby Wilshere
Vela Walcott

And if that is the team, that team will win the Premier League.

There lies Arsenal's problem. CM's on the wing. Failed on Sunday.

In which case Walcott goes right and Eduardo/other striker (Saivet?) upfront.

Sorted.

Hopefully I'll nab a ticket, as with any luck I'll be in Reading by then.

Problem for Arsenal to win the Champions League, is if they can keep these young skilled players.

Arsene Wenger will probably disagree with the wage fee, and sell them. Or just let them go free! Just like he did with Flamini. :rolleyes:

Hes too bloody sensitive with Arsenals money.
