The SAW films..

So far i've watched 1 & 2 and I thought they were both brilliant. Are the rest as good as this? If so.. i'm looking foward to watching them :)

Their still really good though, you should watch them all.

Saw 1 - Fantastic reviews

Saw 2 - Great Reviews

Saw 3 - mixed reviews, some prefered the previous two and said the creators just were trying to make money

Saw 4 - same as above and voted on Channel 4's top worst horror films.

Saw 5 - Made the least amount of money i believe, mixed reviews... some critics said they should of ended the series there.

I'm a huge fan of the films... I've seen every single one, within days of their release. But as far as Im concerned, they get worse has they continue.

One was fantastic, and two was good. Three was worth watching. Four seemed to drag, and was a disappointment. And then in October 08, Five was released... And It was terrible, compared to the others.

The blood and gore gets better as they progress, but the storyline seems to be drawn out, and losing all reasoning.

I'd suggest watching them all, and I just hope in October 09, when the six, the final film is released, it will be better than its predecessors.

Uh I watched 1-4 in 2008 and now I've kinda forgot what they're like. SAW 5 I'm gonna' wait till it comes out on DVD and SAW 6 comes out in the cinema October 23rd.

Saw 1 was brilliant... The others were more gore-fests than psychological thrillers. Saw 1 to Saw 5 is like a transition from Se7en to Final Destination, more gore, less plot.

I've seen all of them, didn't really like number one too much it bored me, two and three are my favorites. Four and five are good too, i watched five at the cinemas with my bf it was quite scary yet cool at teh same time ;D

I think the first two are best, closely followed by the third. Fourth and fifth aren't too good, but worth a watch if you've seen the others. I think the fifth is a bit confusing with the events that happened in the fourth.

The SAW films are good, but lack something. The fact that if you dont watch them in order you cant understand the later ones is quite a fault. But they are good, the way they have a powerful plot ending which makes the whole movie makes sense is of quite a talent, but overall, it just depends what your taste in movies is.

that's not true, it's not about the gore/way people die- the movies actualy all have a twist in them that you'd never guess without being told/wathed them before.

Yeah the more gorey its get like jake said. Not sure which one I watched last maybe 4/5 but it shows you why he started killing, that one wasn't scarey at all, just lots of blood and body parts lol.
The very first one, well that was scarey, and im a sucker for scarey movies.

I guessed the twist of SAW V ten minutes into the film. That's the problem with the franchise, it's too formulaic - needless gore and the fact that there is always a twist.
