i get so annoyed when theres a countdown at the beginning of a video. i dont think they need to count down from 10 just to start a video :rolleyes:

some of those facts were interesting, but there are a few im a bit skeptical of:

- how could they even know what the top demand job of 2010 even is if its not 2010 yet?
- the "we are currently preparing children for jobs that dont exist yet using technologies that havent been invented..." etc etc is so incredibly vague. it would be interesting if they had some sort of explanation but they dont :/ they don't explain who "we" is and how they can prepare them for something they dont know about?
- "the internet took 4 years to market to an audience of 50 million" is a skewed fact. the internet has been around in one form or another since the 60's and has been open for public use since the 80's, but people didnt really catch on until the late 90's. technically, it took longer than television, especially if you factor in the population.

and a lot of the "predictions" are impossible to know. there were plenty of scientists in 1970 who thought they would be able to put a man on mars by the end of that decade, but it hasnt happened 40 years later.

I think the internet comment was more aimed towards the public use of the internet really.

Of course the predictions are impossible to know, that's what a prediction is, if they knew what would happen then it wouldn't say it was a prediction, they don't know, like you say it is impossible to know but it doesn't mean it wont happen.

That is scary some of that. I see it in like 2007 in a school assembely but thats been updated.
