Runner up hotel view entry

As the title states, this was my entry for the Hotel View Design contest.
Came runner up, received A sticker. which was half pixeled ;l

Bit weird i know, incase your wondering, the bit from the carpark into the hotel, is to stop them walking outside, ROFLMAO
Ive also nicked parts off other hotels - Thats what buttered up the judges i think

sorry i really don't like it. I think the idea you had is awesome but i can see like, loads of errors. The shading could use improvment, the windows to the left in the mini bit should be transparent as it has the same style of the ones that are transparent, the door is huge too. Like with the top bit the door is huge, the blue bit needs more shading, the like seperation bit should be slightly darker and theres a bit that randomly cuts off? :S
The little bit over the sea could use better shading and could have poles sticking down into the water so it's stable and there's a massive orange bit on the hotel?
But ye like the idea.

I don't mean to be mean but just because you win doesn't mean the alt is superb. In my experiance "alt" comps are almost completely based on the idea. I mean I won an "alt" comp with this: http://uploadpicz.com/images/P6CXJ5A.bmp

Um..
Whats with the huge orange area, That random glass? thing on the side. I don't like it much. The concept behind it seems pretty cool, but it's pretty poor. You could of made loads of things better - Where the road goes off in between the buildings, you could of edited that area so it looks like the road carries on into the distance.

Also, You could of edited the grassy area more, and I notice you left the pixel error on the Flag's which Habbo have.:P

I'm sorry to put it like so, but had this of won it wouldn't have deserved the win.

You need to add so much more detail and fix your palettes. Since when is grass that flat and green? What about the windows on the right, they look like plastic.
