Well at some point in your life, if you're lifting weights, you're going to hit a plateau. A plateau is basicially a stand point, a point where you can't see yourself getting any bigger or feeling stronger.
Plateau's are easy to run into and easy to run out of. Here's a list of things to do if you hit a plateau.
Rest.
Resting is key when you hit a plateau. This will give your muscles time to rest up and gain the correct nutrition they need to build your body and get stronger. The recommended ammount of sleep if you're lifting weights is 7-8 hours plus. If you're sleeping below this time period, you're not giving your muscles the allocated rest time, thus, they won't grow.
Cut back.
Every bodybuilder/weightlifer hates cutting back on his/her weights but sometimes we have to. Sometimes when you gain a plateau, it can be caused by lifting too heavy. Cutting back by around 5kg on each exercise will help you.
This is just a basic guide to help. Have fun :)
