Why are we badly publicized in the media and in schools?

In my school you get a stupid bunch of people going around saying kill the Jews, your mum is a Jew and all Jews will go to hell.

I mean how can hate you hate a bunch of people who haven't even personally done something to you.

As a member of the Jewish/Christianity community i feel quite saddened by these insults.

First off, surely you can not be part of the "Jewish/Christianity" community as they blame Jews for the death of Jesus.

While nobody at my school is a Jew, everyone walks about saying that stuff too. A friend in America is a Jewish woman and she is one of the nicest people I have ever met. It is more than likely that these kids know NOTHING about what has happened in history, and / or what the origin of this "insult" is. They simply picked it up from other people in an attempt to look cool and down with the newest word.

(Forget the past)Yeah well frankly I'd rather judge them by their pasts as the state of Israel hardly says a lot about the Jewish today? I shouldn't hold a grudge but I find it difficult not to hate them, Israel complains how Jewish people have been persecuted for history yet they go and treat Gaza in such a way, shows how much they learnt from it all. I sometimes begin to think there's a reason they've been persecuted throughout their entire history.

lol, the only derogatory thing i ever say with jews is as an adjective. for example, when i worked at dunkin donuts, we got tips, and occasionally we would have bad tip days. so whoever split tips would sometimes say "we didnt jew you on tips, we just had a bad day."

but i cant do that anymore. my school is so close to new york city, so theres a really high jewish population here.

The Holocaust is a tiny tiny part of Jewish history, racism towards the Jewish people goes back thousands of years before that - and think about it, why would people hate on a group because they were attacked? Jews have basically been the outcast gypsies of the world for milennia, and if you'd read the Torah you'd realise that.

What :S other way around really - Christians stole Jewish teachings and added to them. Moses appears in both religions well before Jesus so not sure what you're on about there, the Old Testament of the Christian Bible is the same thing as the Torah, and the New Testament is the Christian addition.
