Everyone has their own taste... So I could list a hundred and one places to buy good jackets... But theres a chance that you won't like 99% of them, as I dont know what your after. :)

Primark and such are rank imo, I'd far rather spend a bit more money and get something recognisable or at least a bit quality - plus I just plain don't like half the crap in "fashion" at the moment in Primark/Topman/H&M

Once you find what you want it might be a good idea to look through eBay shops for it in case it's cheaper there. Not second hand or anything (unless you don't mind that) but you can pick up some great deals there. I got an Austin Reed jacket that's £80 on their site for £20, unworn with labels and everything. There's a great eBay feature which lets you select what brands to see, just be careful that you don't get a fake.
