Do you mean able to play on-line? If you do then yes. But some times your wireless router wont support the wii so you have to get a Nintendo wifi adapter.

Jord

04-02-2009, 01:04 PM
The internet channel isn't free, it was when it came out :P

Most channels to download are free tho and on-line play is free as long as you can connect

Jordan:A
04-02-2009, 01:30 PM
Well you sign up when you sign up you have to register a game, to get the code to register it it should be in the game, you scratch the silver bit off then enter the code and it will ask you qestions then after it gives you a certain amount of stars

Jord
04-02-2009, 01:34 PM
where can i enter this code on the forum?

Jordan:A
04-02-2009, 01:38 PM
When you register on club nintendo it will ask for the code, if someone else knows that code they can use it then you wont be able to use it again to get you're stars

Jord
04-02-2009, 01:39 PM
I went on clubnintendo.com and thread was a thread how do i redeem codes and someone said the right site is www.club.nintendo.com and I went there almost registed but they said you gotta be american or canadian to get points etc

http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/club_nintendo/club_not_logged_in.jsp

Thats the link and you enter your game codes here :

I couldn't see if anyone answered this question, but it's 500 points.

The chances of you being able to redeem your Star Points (what you get for registering a game) from Club Nintendo for Wii Points (what you use to buy channels and games) are rediculously low if the Star Point system is as bad as it was not long ago, where they're never in stock.

Next time you're in town you could buy a Wii Points Card OR buy them from Amazon.co.uk and use that to get a Wii Points Card.

Amazon.co.uk - 2000 Wii Point Card (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-2000-Wii-Points-Card/dp/B000JXS5UU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1233756781&sr=1-1) - £14.69

Wii Points Card Shop (https://wiipointscard.nintendo-europe.com/php/index.php?lang=en_GB) - Requires a Log-in

2000 Points would buy you the Internet Channel for 500 points and a few good games :) Not that bad for £14.69. Quite reasonable really compared to what the Wii Shop Channel is offering for 3000 Wii Points for more than what you can get for 4000 :P

The Wii Points or the Stars? Wii Points last forever by the looks of things, I've had my points sitting on there for months and they managed to survive when the Wii got it's memory wiped when it broke. As for stars, there were rumours that they expire which I think might be true, but it doesn't appear any of my stars have disappeared, so not too sure about that I'm affraid :(

Save your stars for the 1000 Wii Points on that site I listed which you have to log-in for, you can only redeem stars for points once a day :(

Every Wii has got a Wi-Fi connection, and able to access the internet if you put your details. Wireless connection is also built in so you don't need a wireless adapter.

If you want to go on a website from your Wii, then you can purchase the Internet Channel which currently costs 1,500 Wii Points.

You can access sites like YouTube, Hotmail and HabboxForum

If you want to play a friend on a game, the internet wi-fi connection is free. No costs apply :D

Stop asking that, it's making me doubt myself now lol. If for some reason you have to have your Wii sent to Nintendo and it gets wiped, you can definitely re-download anything you've bought without having to pay for them again. I'm not sure how it recognises what you've bought, but mine was completely wiped (so all saved games and channels went :() and I got all of them back again minus the saved games. :)

GommeInc
05-02-2009, 04:23 PM
You can register as many games or consoles as humanly possible, but the lag on it is very bad... It took me about 5 attempts to do one of my games :) Just enter it and wait, grab a drink or something from another room and watch the tele :P

1500 on a tennis game?! Is he insane?!

Jord

Yeah, you can use it whenever you want, if you accidentally delete that channel, when go to the Wii shop then go on Downloaded Games/Titles.

Then it be there, and download it again with no cost at all..

Im not to sure if you can use a USB keyboard, but Wii have released their own keyboard at a price range of 20 GBP

You can :) A basic, Technika USB keyboard from Tescos works well. I use it for Animal Crossing :D

Part of that is wrong, You only get club nintendo from products that were MADE FROM NINTENDO. For an example you dontget it in games made from ubisoft. But things like mario party and animal crossing youll get it in. (this includes wii console)
