I need an attendance above 93%, I have 93.6% lololol.
Just need to stay in now, this is of the whole school time I've been there.
But one week I was on holiday does that count.
How much % is 1 day :S

Im thinking about
- Double Business Studies
- ICT

I've talked to teachers about it etc.
I just need to pass my gcses which I think I will if work hard.

I wouldn't do Business Studies, go for ICT though. How many do you get to pick?

3, 4 if you get 25 points.
A* = 4
A = 3
B = 2
C = 1

Business Studies course is 2 thirds coursework which I like, my friend who is in 6th form said it's a gift.

wow 93% is hight! my college is if you get below 85% attance they arrange a meeting with you and your parents about staying. I love college, so this isn't a problem for me!

Revise as much as you can for your GCSEs, could start revising now?

I'm doing double ICT and business studies, really good.

Owow your school does it well wierd. Dont do double business, do single if you like. ICT Is good, make sure that you get an AS level in it because some schools you only get the A2 level in the second year so its a two year course, you cant always drop it after the first year with an AS level.

I think my school is some 94% and your in trouble.

More than a week off in a year and there's a £50 fine. There after, it's like £200 for every other week. £200 is issues by the government.

£50 for 6th form which is voluntary.. what a joke.

Yea, I think they think of it as: You have taken a place and your never in, someone else could of taken the place who will be in. etc.

1st - 5th year
Thats over 800 days.
It's hardly going to be 1% I was thinking 0.2% each day.

Ye but its stupid, some of my classes have like 45 people in, some have 6 so not really any rules on numbers if people want to take the A level aha, ridiculous.

My signature now in Year 11 is 98.7%
Do you think they just look at the Year 11 attendance cause they said to us at the start of the year "you cant miss any days, this is the year that counts"

Immenseman

(i havent read the posts before this so sorry if i've just copied what someone said)

i think 1 day is like 0.5% or something. i've had 86% so far this year but i need to aim higher if i want to do business studies for my options because lots and lots of people really want to do it but they only accept the ones with higher attendance.
