I don't really agree with you that he should start, he's still young. What we need to do is make sure we hang onto him instead of Shreky Boy. Make him feel special to be playing for Everton.

He should defintly come on earlier, as usually its 5 minutes.

I'm so gutted I couldn't go to the game tonight, *** bring on the Villa!

Mmm true, I guess ya gotta keep em keen and not let him start everytime. He looked like he enjoyed playing tonight, even when all the older players were tired out and couldn't do much, he pushed on and wanted to make something. His goal was written in the stars without a doubt. Osman too, corr he was something of a god. Everton defence yet again proves that even the best teams can be beaten with zero money. ;D

I wish I could go to the Villa game, but... Hey, don't have the money and I can't get there anyway. :) Moyes might sell him yknow, to get money. It's a shame, but I can see that happening.

Aha, tbh I think if Gosling has seen how Rooney is treated by both the fans and how he got owned all over by Moyesy, he'll think twice before leaving us for anyone.

Osman was so unlucky!!! The defence great! Jag, Lescott and Baines all in the English Squad even if its just the bench.

Bit dissapointed with Fellani and Arteta tonight tbh though.

Pyroka
04-02-2009, 11:12 PM
Yeah Arteta is usually the freekick/corner guy yet he never really made a good chance out of any of them, because he kept on passing them instead of shooting straight up. There was one corner which Baines slipped on didnt he, poor lad should've scored that, very unlucky. Felliani... Well, where was he? :S

Who was that youngster who played in defence on... the first Liverpool v Everton game, who was absolute golddust? He was bald, I just can't remember his name. Kept on thinking it was Baines lol.

Mightve been Rodwell... I didn't see him at all during the match, but I kept on hearing his name and I was like "What where" O_o Hibbert popped up to make an amazing clearance from time to time too.

Jack.lfc is probably not going to come on here tonight, probs googling for a new liverpool manager.

Liverpool fans, they dont have brains to even use google?

More like he'll be drowning his sorrows all night, about losing Robbie Keane, Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard and the FA Cup all in 3 days :eusa_clap

Why would Liverpool fans want to drown their sorrows, they're 2nd?

Because they're not 1st, and if Rafa doesn't win a cup this season then well... Ooooo LOL. They're out of the Carling Cup, FA Cup and 2nd in the Premier League. Basically Rafa needs to either win the Champions League or win the Premiership... either one and his ass might be saved, but even then the American owners despise him.

Makes me laff :D

EverSteve

Why would Liverpool fans want to drown their sorrows, they're 2nd?

They should be first in all honesty, appart from Chelsea the managers words about "Sir Alex", has cost him the title race atm, I can't see them winning pompey.

and if they need to make up that fans from Everton shouted about Hillsborough where there OWN fans died, then they must be truely gutted just about drawing to us, they've lost this time. We're their local rivals at the end of the day, even though I live in Doncaster I get **** at me all through the year if we lose. People in Liverpool will get it 10* worser than me so just imagine how they're feeling atm :)

maybe they lost Gerrard through Injury and Lucus Red Card, but at the end of it we created the better chances (Osman Post, Cahill should've got one) etc.

Lol everton deseverd to win but lets point out a few things.

The ovation gerrard got when he went off
The ovation torres got when he went off
The 'we are you history' banner with a big liverbird in the middle
The pitch invastion at the end - am i correct in only thinking thats what little team fans do when they beat a big team?
Alls there fans can respond with is 'murdere's' they cant actually argue
The fact that tickets where still on sale 10 mins before the game, proves something?

We haven't won against Liverpool since 2006, it's a pretty big achievement and everyone was on the edge of their seats, so a pitch invasion would be the only suitable celebration. Gerrard & Torres are good players yeah, but your team didn't half fall apart when Gerrard went. Carriagher played superbly, he's one hell of a player & held the situation well together.

Murderers? I don't get you.

That stadium looked full to the brim, no-one could fit in there surely? Anyway it was a great match.. Aston Villa >: )!!!!

I would also like to state that tickets were sold out on Monday. They had a stupid system, 10 home games first picks etc,

Torres was ****e, he didn't even get a ovation, I was more upset about Babble coming on, Ithought he would do something

Gerrard was understandable, I'm sure if Cahill had gone of injured you would've cheered him of, don't start taking the high ground on omg liverpool fans are mint, your defintly not

and btw, I did see a invasion, the invasion of clothes brought from Oxfam from your fans, didn't you see the 40 odd pair of socks/other clothing on the pitch - i don't care if it wasn't dangerous, it holded up the game for 1 minute, i want them all fined and banned from games. -complains to fa kkk ;)

You clearly missed the coins flung at Hibbert and Arteta, and the bottle on the pitch.

I'm sure if one of your players had've tripped over it and broke their foot, you wouldn't have liked the joke so much.

Being a Liverpool fan, it was absolutely horrible sitting right in the middle of the Lower Gladys with all the Evertonians. My friend told me the next day he didn't see it because ITV messed up and put a commercial on. Why Rafa plays Lucas over Mascherano I dont know, it aint the first time he has lost us a game.

I agree, mascherano should be one of the first names on the team sheet. I was in upper bullins 6th row from back.
