The video-upload is extremely slow. The video I am currently uploading is 273MB and according to Speedtest.net my download and upload speed are as follows;
http://www.speedtest.net/result/404630019.png (http://www.speedtest.net)

Using this site - http://youtube-answers.blogspot.com/2008/12/how-long-will-it-take-to-upload-my.html
It should take 16 minutes, but it's been over 2 hours now.
What browser is uploading best in, I am using Internet Explorer 8 BETA, maybe thats the problem but I've no idea how to unistall IE8 BETA as when I go to download IE7 it says "you have a newer version of IE on your PC", dont recommend firefox, I totally hate it, sorry and I dont really like Opera/Safari either.

I'd recommend you adapt to FireFox, it's really fast, you can get themes & add-ons and it's the king of browsers. The tabs are much more cleaner than on IE, if not go for Google's Chrome.

On my old comp chrome crashed and didnt work ever again after like 3 days bit give it a try and see if you like it.

This happens to me I upload a video about 5 hours later it still aint done so I just wait and it normaly takes me about 10 hours to upload one (on old comp) I put my montage on a USB Brang it upstairs and uploaded it here took about 30 mins.

No, it shouldn't take 16 minutes..

265kb/s upload (Kilobits per second) = 33KB/s upload (kilobytes per second)

That makes it close to a 2 hour 30 minute upload.

I left it on for like 3 hours and nothing.

Youtube doesn't respond well with uploads longer than an hour

Most vids from my capture card are 500mb per 10 min.
Anyone got a quick converter which doesnt lose quality.
I got a converter with it but it takes ages tho it keeps the quality.
m2ts to wmv.

You have to remember 100's of 1000's of people are uploading the same time as you

Id take the download off and put it back up

Jord, chrome and firefox are the fastest browsers ever.

Do you have another computer running the exact same OS and browser? If so, try this:
Use the other computer and upload a video to youtube on that computer. If its quicker than the computer you have this problem on, its the computer's problem. If its extremely slow again, must be your router.
