It's taking ages, I got it minutes after it was released and it was downloading ridiculously fast, now everyone else has jumped on the band-wagon it's taking ages. I'd seriously suggest people download it ASAP before the rest of Europe and America do later this evening. Things will only get worse.

Just played it, there's no multiplayer so I have to admit the demo is an epic failure, Tom Clancy's End War had me playing that for ages right up until it was released.

There's 2 missions, the first very easy, the second a little bit more challenging. Controls are a little awkward at first as they're explained poorly in the tutorial. The missions are okay and the graphics for the cut-scenes are very good.

However this RTS is a bit different to normal, first of all they've got rid of 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' which I thought would just cause a mess, sadly, it does. It's just massive squads running around, killing, then getting killed and then you summon people from your base. It goes on.

The Skirmish mode isn't too bad, rather easy though and you spend most your time building up your army.

Most people will of finished with it all within 30-45 mins.

I love it, definitly going to buy it on release, the controls are so simple it's not even funny, not the best RTS ever but probably will be the best a console will ever get.

I love Ensemble with the Age of Empires series but I hate console RTS' due to Command & Conquer 3: Red Alert.

I'l eventually download this, and get the Limited Edition with free Mythic (Only £10 more than regular and Mythic's £6.80 anyways) map pack for Halo 3/Halo 3:ODST

I think its just Halo: ODST.... im not sure Master Chief is involved in it unless they changed the concept from when it was going to be named Halo: Recon.

I havent got the demo yet because i tried to get it when everyone was downloading and I just forgot about it today.

I have to say... it looks good but I find it strange its not made by bungie and I think the way things look in the game are TOO different from any of the Halo graphics...

Although, im not sure it would have done as well (if it does do well) if it didnt have "Halo" in the name... as a game on its own it doesnt seem good enough.

Same here, I took ages building up the base and then just owned them all.

Shame, I just find console RTS' to crap to be bothered with them. I guess I'l have to buy a MS Point nao after I just sold one :(

I don't really like it.
I thought it was going to be something like Halo normally is where you actually see it like you could in Halo 1,2,3 :(
Wasn't very impressed :P

WOW, worse game ever to be invented. It has left a harsh name on Halo. I haven't downloaded the demo, but I have watched the reviews of the game (Actual Gameplay) and it absolutley sucks. More of a disappointment than GTA but then again it is my opinion.

You cant judge a game if you havnt played it or if you just read a review. GTA had great reviews yet the game sucks. I havnt played this yet but no doubt it will be good. I dont mind this sort of game but they can get boring sometimes.

i've seen a video of something playing the game. As I saw that I wondered what is the point in wasting space on my hard drive for a game that looked disapointing? Halo 3 was like the best game out on 360 for it's time.

Halo 3 is the best game out. Remove 3 year olds and chav players from both games and you have more players on Halo.
