I've got a friend with a video camera that records to the DVD (in the camera) and when he puts it onto the computer the files are VOB which a couple being IFO (which from what I've read is the DVD file types).
So, does anyone have an EASY way (program?) that I can just put the clip in and convert it to AVI (avi preferably, but honestly anything that can be used in Windows Movie Maker/other editors would be nice since we need to edit the actual clips)? I've tried a couple of free trial programs but they've all had watermarks on them and any others have just been PURE HASSLE.
+rep for ANY answer (leading somewhere, obviously.)
I'd prefer that you answered only if you know what you're talking about and didn't just google it.
