this is horrid and I don't know what to do... i really do like my current girlfriend, but it's just awkward and it feels like she doesn't want me, so I've got another issue, over the past month I've really fallen for my other friend, she rules..

but I don't want to brake up with this girlfriend cus I dont know, but it doesn't feel right..

Talk to your current girlfriend about how you feel (Don't mention the other girl) ask her if you think shes going off you so you can find out the answers if she is then its clear what to do, but be sure the other girl likes you.

As a matter of fact do you even know the other girl likes you, the way you want her to? She could just think of you as a really good friend and to then pop out of the blue and say "I love you" the girl is going to feel betrayed and i'm sure she would then go tell your current girlfriend.

If you do like your friend more, and you are sure this other girl likes you then go for it with her. It's not worther dumping your current girlfriend then going to your friend "I love you" and she turns around and rejects you. You'll end up with no one and be broken hearted.

At the end of the day it's up to you but be prepared for the worse.

Break up with your GF, tell her you want to be friends and you value her friendship, then flirt with your friend so she gets the hint and maybe tell her you like her if she flirts back. Even if your friend doesn't feel the same way you shouldn't stay with your current GF if you aren't happy with the relationship.

I was in the same situation early last year.
I'd liked my best friend for ages, and I had a boyfriend... I didn't like him that much, but there was something there.
I broke up with my boyfriend, because it was unfair to him, and told my friend - and he completely rejected me.
But I don't like my friend anymore, but we're closer than ever, and I found out that my boyfriend was a player =]

You should do whatever you think is right, but if you like/love someone else you really should break up with your girlfriend.
And don't do it on valentines day =]

You're kind of changing your mind a lot, so you can't be in love with your friend or your girlfriend if one minute you want one, then you want the other.

Talk to your current girl friend tell her you love her but.. not as you used to and you have feelings for your best mate, just tell her that you would realy like to stay friends, then talk to your best mate and see if she feels the same way.
