A belt of rain moving towards the UK from the Atlantic is due to cause more travel chaos and disruption this coming Sunday. As the weather front hits land during the day tomorrow, the cold weather we're currently experiencing will cause the system to turn from rain to sleet and snow. The met office has once again issued a severe weather warnings for most of the UK saying that "5-10cms should be expected with up to 15cm locally".
Keep up to date with warnings on the MetOffice website.

its coming from the russian arctic, meaning that it would pass from a north easterly direction, so it'll pass through england first before it goes to ireland.
Wow this is where the grit amount now becomes a severe and roads become a death trap.

No, this one is coming from the north-west (Greenland way) meaning it will hit Ireland first about lunchtime then pass through Wales, England and Scotland.
MetOffice only has a warning for England only?

It's not, that widespread icy roads thing is for tonight, notice that it says in the description "the next few hours" - You have to scroll down to see the other days. I don't understand what you're looking at Voiding.
