My parents have actually only just bought one, very similar to yours aswell. I would of told them about it if they hadn't already bought one. But we might be getting some more fish which means another tank or just a bigger tank. So we might end up buying it. :P

Speaking of killing, I once killed off a full tank of goldfish (9) from spraying too much deodorant in my room. Well it was either that or the fact that I didn't realise they had such a short memory and overfed them. :(
