Hi

This girl in my class asked me if I wanted to do something on valentines day but to be honest I dont like her like that but dont wanna make her upset etc. It will also be awkward as I sit next to her in a few classes :L

Do you suggest I even say no? Ive been told this other girl likes me BUT there's so many lieing rumour people around, who most likely will get a job at OK! magazine, so yeah im confused :)

I say go with your gut. If you don't like her, just tell her you don't want to do anything with her because you're just not that into her. Ask her if she'd like to do something as friends if you don't want to upset her. (I LOLd at the OK! Magazine thing ;)) Anyways, once again, don't always trust everyone's rumours. Good luck!
XOXOX,
Lexi

Tell her the truth. Say that you have no feelings for her (except being friends) and that you wish to stay friends. Hopefully she will understand

Lie. Tell her your going to your grans and stay inside all day.

If you don't like her it will just cause problems prolonging the situation! Just break it to her gently and say you'd rather just be good friends.

Yeah, definitely tell her the truth - after all, you don't want to lead her on, and it will make things much more painful for her and messy for you in the end if you let her think you want to be more than friends. Or if you don't have the nerve to tell her straight, just let her know that you already have plans with someone on valentines day.. but that you'd like to hang out as friends on a different day if she wants to or something.

Try the "i think its best if we remain friends" line. If she goes off crying it wont be for long.

lmao got to agree here :)
did she say "wanna do something on saturday" or "wanna do something on valentines" she might be asking as a mate.

just tell her exactly how you feel don't lie to her so she doesn't get upset because it'll all **** up in the end anyway

just tell her you're gay

why dont you get her a valentines card, but write on a little bit of paper that you think shes a great friend and you have a laugh, but you just dont like her in that way?

lol get her a valentines day card and on the inside underneath where it says "happy valentines day", write "not really" and then proceed to break it gently to her.
