Burn or freeze to death and why :O
I'd rather freeze to death although I don't know why. I imagine it'd be less painful although when you're so cold you start burning up anyway...

They'd both get to a point where they'd hurt but I think you'd burn to death quicker then you would freeze, so I pick that.

If it was a case of instant death, lava or liquid nitrogen then I'd pick the latter. Not that it matters if it was instant death :P
freezing to death. i couldn't stand my skin melting and torturing me. also by freezing my body wouldnt remain intact :8.

When you freeze to death your body slowly shuts down. Everything stops functioning until you're gone. I guess just slipping away would be better than the immense pain of being burnt...

I think freezing to death would be quicker and less painful so freezing.

Freezing, burning just looks to painful.
Freeze.. Because you would probably drift in and out of conciousness whereas burn is just like very very hot and painful even though it is only for a few seconds lol
I would rather freeze because when your outside and it's cold you usually just go numb and can't even move/feel parts of your body. It also goes from just being freezing to a sudden death. Unlike fire where you are burning all over, your skin is bubbling and you probably can't breathe.

both would be painful
but i'd say freeze to death, wouldn't everything just go numb anyways?
Nick.

I'd just freeze to death because I'm so hot it wouldn't work.
joking.
i would choose burn, you'd die faster. freezing takes ages and hurts.

What's pain when you're going to die anyway? I'd rather burn up, it would be considerably more painful but so much quicker.

I'd rather Freeze because you would lose consciousness before you die of hypothermia, if you burned to death it would hurt like hell and you would be awake to endure it.

tbh.. I'd prefer to burn. It would generally be faster than freezing to death.
Freezing because you loose consciousness before you die :)
Freeze because I like the winter and have a pretty decent tolerance for the cold so I think itd be a little less painful

When you say freezing to death, do you mean standing naked outside in the snow until you die of hypothermia, or jumping into a big tank of liquid nitrogen? I'm sure the latter would be equally as painful as burning to death.
Yeah it's meant to beautiful and peaceful.. I wouldn't like to drown, I hate not being able to breathe..
i would hate to drown! i'm crap at holding my breath under water cos it scares me :(:(.

I think you should very carefully question the sanity of the person who told you that.
As for me, I'd prefer to freeze to death.

I haven't read the rest of the thread but it certainly doesn't take days, its more a case of hours. If you were freezing for a few hours hyperthermia would start to set in and you'd lose concentration, feeling in your limbs and eventually consciousness. From there it takes around an hour to finally die. My estimates might even be a bit conservative, my friend was told he had about half an hour left until he became critical when we were out sailing and he got hyperthermia :P
Yeah, freezing to death please :D

I'd rather freeze because you're preserved and not turned into what resembles a lump of charcoal.
And freeze and "burn" is actually both of the same. You get two types of burning - from cold and from hot, and it's both the same pain receptors and of course the same feeling when burned by either. Look at frost bite for instance? (and I guess my reasoning is wrong, frostbite does look a bit like a hot burn :s).
