can you get banned for this?

Mathew
09-02-2009, 07:45 PM
I doubt you can be banned for it.
It's Habbo's fault for not sorting / seeing it first, so you're hardly in the wrong.

On the other hand you're being annoying, so you never know. I wouldn't reccomend it. :)

LoveToStack glitched me too! *glares*

can you get banned for this?
Bug abuse - Possibly

Once you know it causes error then its your duty not to continue it, therefore Habbo can get you introuble for mis-use of the bug.

^^ Dunno.

Does it work in public spaces?

efq
09-02-2009, 07:47 PM
Not sure but if its guest rooms then I'd assume but it is really getting annoying and advise if you do it then keep in your mind the risk you run of getting in trouble.

Plus its really annoying me because I'm try to trade in Trade City and I keep getting crashed so I will not be going back on Habbo until they fix this.

Yes
edit; you wont get in trouble because youre doing nothing wrong. just say I was trying to put down my camera and I tried taking a picture. You did nothing wrong.

Yes but once you continue to do it then your bug abusing.
They'll see in your log that you took your camera, relogged went to room took out camera, relogged and so on.

It's bug abuse, like they will believe that if you're constantly doing it.

No,you cannot use exploits or scripts that others have found/created to change things on Habbo.

These activities change the code that is sent from your computer to the Habbo servers. This is expressly forbidden in our Terms of Service (http://www.habbo.co.uk/papers/termsAndConditions). Any Habbo using such programs will be banned permanently and his/her details may be passed on to the police.

This applies to all aspects of Habbo, and the Habbo website. From the Habbo Way

People were banned for erroring others without using third party programs before. It was merely a bug same with this. People may have got away with things worse than this but somethings get overlooked.

It breaks the Habbo Way so yeah...

I never used any such program. I was trying to take a photo and it kept not working.

Its near enough the same thing, its a exploit.
But won't it be funny with all the other users logs?
You are going into rooms trying to take a picture AFTER BEING TOLD IT DOESN'T WORK and then continiously doing it... Habbo are obviously going to see it as delibrate.

Lol, Bren some people want to run the risks, so allow them.

LoveToStack

running risks? This is such a big joke. It's habbos fault for letting this happen in the first place and now people are doing it. Now it's so widespread I'd love to see habbo 'ban' everyone who opened a camera. Aside from the people doing it deliberately there's going to be hundreds of indifferent people who just hopped on the bandwagon.
Very few people get banned using third party programs using specific segments of code which makes me believe that little to NO people will be punished at all for this.

Frisky
09-02-2009, 08:05 PM
Or just open your camera and move around.

efq
09-02-2009, 08:09 PM
Depends, Habbo have the choice to ban all the Habbos that had continiously opened the camera and continued to relog to do so. Doing these things can cause other problems in Habbo which can lead to Habbo having to spend money on the extra problems the Habbos caused by continiously messing about with the exploit.

Your right, its unlikely they will but if they had wanted to then they could enforce legal laws against the Habbos that have logged proof the have did the same actions over and over again.

So if the government actually dumped loads of explosives, would you go out and use them and blame it on the government? No. :$

Of course, it's unlikely that people will be banned, but it can happen and if it does you've got no excuse.

Good, the sensible people seem to understand.

Fair enough if you do it once or twice, just to check it doesn't work but to ruin the rest of the Habbos experience isn't nice at all.

Thanks to the people who spread and told people about this.
Well done for spoiling a lot of people's games (including two Habbox events), a lot of peoples casino bets and countless attacks in the Habbox Help Desk.

Strange (but funny) bug, must admit. Highly annoying though.
