Does anyone no what the MAX amount of ram that can be used in a MacBook is? It's 1.83GHz & Intel Core 2. I'm using 2GB at the moment, was just wondering.

I think its 4GB, someone correct me if im wrong :P

I think you can put 2GB in each slot (4GB altogether) but the MacBook can only use 3.1GB 's of it, same as Tom, correct me if I'm wrong.

Hmm, think i might just keep it at 2GB for now.

Max is 4gig.
It will read all of it.
OS X can read up to 32gig I think.
