right you know that lead that goes into your TV and comp/laptop at the same time yes well this is for my sis her one does not play sound threw the tv and she asked me too look round the net for awnsers, But we both do not know the name of this item so thanks for help

VGA is Video, not sound. for sound on TV you need the RGB thing.

It would seem from google it's either VGA (as brandon says..) or an s-video cable?
