I've worked out how you can stack with 3 easy steps. :) Hope it helps.
1. Try and put the item on the bar (Just to make sure it doesn't work already)
2. Put a table diagonally behind the bar you want to place an item on.
3. Put the item on the bar as you normally would.

FAIL NAOMI, THE PUBLIC HAS SPOKEN. IT'S OLD. YOU WASTED YOUR TIME WITH A TUTORIAL WHEN YOU COULD'VE BEEN STOPPING ME AND BAITED TRASHING.

Nice one but thing is, it's really old!
If the bar is near the wall, it'll let you put it straight ontop. If not, you need to stack something higher than the item infront to get it onto the bar.
It's been like that since i can remember

I won't make a new thread for this although it is really news;
Now when you hover an object over a table item it shows you the actual hieght it will sit at if you place it there. Idk if this has already been posted so ye.
