I never use dreamweaver's WYSIWYG editor but I don't think it would show the snow, would it? Try saving it an uploading a live preview then check.

The snow wont show in dreamweaver. You will need to save the file and open it in a browser to see it :)

PHP is server side anyway, so it wouldn't show in the WYSIWYG Editor.

So you'll need to upload the PHP to the server to actually see it.
