I think, now that VIP has gone, and can be rarely won, that all members should have access to this very popular feature.

I mean, since there's no way of us paying to get this feature, we're never guaranteed because only one person a month can get VIP at the moment (from each section). So I think, as it's one of the most popular features on Habbox, and it's barely being used, that all members, or maybe those with a bit a forum experience should get this feature because it's annoying not being able to have it at will, and not being able to buy it.

I would suggest it being part of the thanks for donating to Habbox, but then the donating may start being looked at as a thing you buy for features which isn't it's purpose anymore as it's not allowed :P.

Theyre slowly going to introduce VIP features into user ranks. however, people still have VIP so it would be unfair on them if everyone got the features, theyve paid for it.

Most, if not all the features that VIP users have will not be relased to normal members. We may release some features to usergroups when there is not many people who have VIP.

You won't be saying that when your VIP does run out, though. It's just the fact that barely anyone has VIP and we have no choice but to not be able to have that feature anymore, because we can't force ourselves into winning member of the month.

There's also always ONE person that says "WE HAVE HAD LOADS OF THESE THREADS". Erm, so what? The more there is, the more likely people will take notice, we don't need your unnecessary contribution, thanks.

I certainly won't, and it didn't stop people from giving me reputation negatively when I had VIP, and if people do revenge it, it can be reported and removed :S. That's no excuse ;).

Why don't Habbox just give VIP features to people who donate.

Say something like

"If you donate to Habbox, in return we will give you some special features on our forum, so no-one's left empty handed"

im still sure there is a loophole around this whole donating thing. If you donate to charity, you sometimes receive free pens or free bags. or you pay for a card from a charity. so i fail to see why you cant offer donaters the same features ?

We simply can't offer features in exchange for money which is why donators don't get anything but a coloured name. The coloured name we are allowed to do as so donators can be seen and highlighted as a thanks. What lAscend has said (and seems to have been ignored) is pretty much right as far as I know.

I suppose they could, but that's just changing the words for giving users VIP.

The other people that have been saying about how they pay for VIP, yes you do, but you no longer pay that - It was a one of fee, and it will run out soon enough. I paid when I had VIP, but as lAscend said, as more peoples VIP runs out, they could look to implementing this :).

That's exactly what I was saying really, it would basically be cheating the whole "No premium access services" rule by Sulake. I also haven't ignored lAscend, I acknowledged his post in one of my previous posts :P

Imo Non VIP's should get to see who repped them (good rep) not bad if its bad it will just make them return it.
They can't stop one and allow the other, and if people do revenge, like I said, they report it and it get removed. It's not hard, i'm sure you've done it before.

Who said it can rarely be won? Assumptions. Im sure VIP will be available for plenty of competitions in the near future. Give it chance for current subscriptions to run out (not all of them obviously).

There is even a web design competitions which will give you a years VIP!

That may take a while because I'm sure many people took advantage of the cheap VIP we could buy before habbox stopped selling it. Like I have 6+ years of VIP+/VIP and I bet loads of others have quite a few years of it aswell. Perhaps if you asked all VIP's if they are bothered about non VIP's/donators having the features it would be ok, and if some of the the VIP's say "no I paid for these features so I wouldn't want non VIP's having them" you could look at how long they have left and when they run out you could bring the features into place.

IMO I think only people with 5,000 posts+ should start to get VIP features.

Plus you cant say im only saying that coz i have 5000 - Coz i dont!

Infact perhaps match a criteria:

Used forums for two years +
Has over 5000 posts.
Does not always revenge rep.
Less than three infractions at any point (While eligible!)
That would mean not loads get it!

Its just putting extra work on the forum staff, Im sure they already got enough work to do.
