This was done by an Ex-Staff member who got into the webmaster mail account, and did this. He has since been Fired.
Please close thread.

More like a cover up so you won't get bad publicity. But I don't wanna troll.
Emails pretty nasty if you ask me; how'd they think they're going to get members if they send out emails like that.

Was hacked, with data at risk (emails)? What if a virus was sent to everyone? That would be 72 users not very happy.

I have closed the forum. We are now investigating this. An ex-member of the Administrative team got in after an emergency restore that back-up to when that user wasn't fired! Please sit tight :-)

To be honest, I don't think many people will want to join a website that allows itself to be 'hacked' with no problems at all. I wouldn't want my personal details available to all and sundry, and neither would your users.
Just uncovering 'whodunnit' isn't helpful - you need to discover what went wrong, and how you can fix things in the future, before you'll regain your users' trust.

He did discover went wrong.
We had to do an emergency backup, to a few days before the staff member was fired, and the staff member was quick and did this fast.

Why would he tell people to start posting? :S
Surely he would give loads of abuse in the email etc if he wasnt staff.
