Does anybody else watch Fringe? I download new episodes from the US - it is amazing! Not a lot of people seem to watch it tho - possibly because it's on sky in the UK.
It's doing the same kind of thing Lost did - starting out as one thing but turning out to be completely different. Or much deeper.
Anyway... Teleportation monster mutation thing?

I love Walter - he is so eccentric, yet can be so menacing/creepy/evil.

Seasons have about 22-24 episodes to last from September - May which means they need to strech seasons to make them last. They hiatus during holidays and some shows stop for a full month to allow production to get ahead (Heroes for example).
Fringe also airs post American Idol which requires 2 hour slots instead of 1 on occasions (but it seems to be more than occassional nowdays) and Fox are happy to expand because it's the top rated show on TV, after the Superbowl.

I suppose that makes sense. I get that they have breaks normally in December/January, but it seems odd they come back for a couple episodes then disappear for another month or two!
