It means you have messages in your info box. Whether its about Habbo or a sponsered message... (even the new trading thing).

You only get it when you go onto another tab like Community or Games etc.

It's a small change but it's been there for quite sometime now meaning it's not new but it has it's uses I suppose.

Once per 2 months you'll get a topic like this on a Habboforum about the little star next to your Habboname. :p If it's new 'nd stuff.

It means where you haven't read those little messages from Habbo underneather where your motto sits, or if you have a new one.

as sean said its when you get a sponsor message and you not on homepage. So e.g if your on the community page and theirs a sponsor message which hasn't been crossed off it will appear.
