Hello,
I want to buy a laptop.
I really want something like the macbook pro. But not at that price!
Plus im scared of getting mac as i have no idea how to use it.
I'm saving around £200 a month starting with next month. So im looking at a laptop priced around £300-600?
I want one that is like ultra thin or near so?
and really good battery life
Thanks!

£719, although you can get it for cheaper, if you are a student - but you have to be on campus for college and uni discounts; http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/education_routing/

Hello
I Would recommend getting a 'Sony Vaio'
I Have a £700 Vaio and its super!
320Gb hdd
4Gb Ram
Blue ray
ati graphics card
Hdmi Output
You name it its got it
Worth it :)
I Would not recommend getting a mac unless you willing to not run some windows programs and they are over priced for what they are.
Thanks

Whatever program you cannot get a Mac version of, there is a Mac alternative. Therefore that point is void. I've edited this quote to reflect that :)
If it's just for browsing and MSN etc then get a cheap one off eBay you don't need killer specs, I think you can buy a new battery if you find out what model and it'll probably have more life but just keep it on charge while you use it and you're sorted :P

Some do work on it because i have a mac and random programs do work on there.
Thanks

A Windows program is an exe and will not run on a Mac.
If you are referring to a program that is available multi-platform, then ofcourse it will work.
Mac alternatives of Windows-only programs are available.

I think you are confusing mac with linux, mac doesnt get all alternatives.

I never said it did. I said IF theres not the program you want there will be an alternative. I aint getting confused.

He doesn't mean a mac version of the same program, he means a program on mac that does the same thing

You can get a MacBook Pro now and pay 50 pound a month until it's paid off.
