Guys, couldn't you make the room...you know...less depressing?
The rest of the fansite help desk rooms are heaving of people and no offence, a bit of colour into the room.
Habbox is way better than the rest (my opinion) but maybe give it a slight face lift? Get the punters back in!!

That was posted in the HxHD section of the forum and i couldn't agree more. When you walk in it looks like an office with no color what so ever. The valentines theme was great and then all of a sudden it went back and it's like Oh all the character has gone! I know you guys don't have limitless amounts of furni but something does need to be done to brighten it up a little bit because it has been busy and so far the new desk is awesome :D
Thoughts?

I have to agree with this idea, it does look like a office. I think some slight changes would make alot of difference, we shall wait and see what happens :)

We'll never find a layout that everyone likes and reverting back to the old theme won't do it any favours whatsoever. Redecorating it for seasons like Easter and Valentines makes it even the more special. Sure a few tweaks here and there could be fine but redesigning the whole desk would be pointless. It serves its purpose, and when it first opened everyone commented on how it was miles better than the original. We can't keep changing it every few months as it will just get tedious.
It is quite dull at the moment, petals and lodge are a nice mix I think, I love that :D

I agree with Lucy, no need to do dramatic change, were only saying give it a bit of colour. Im sure theres plenty of people wholl donate. Im not talking thrones and silly moooosh like that.

Sierk gave nvr them and i think everything else that was in hxhd, hence why i never got to change it *much* ;)
well you can't say they don't take what's said on board they've changed the wall paper and the theme already and i think they're looking at some plants but furni has to look good so it would take longer :D x

Yeah, me and u tried that once lol, we was going to use mode bars and they rug things never did happen though :P
Looks like Alan Sugar designed it to be straight with ya's. :D

yeah, cheap and would look better
the current design is better than the lodge/petal rubbish beforehand.

Yes they were lent to me by sierk and I could ask him to lend them to Sam buttttt we went with an executive style desk :)

I like the design, but I think the walls could have done with a sprucing up, which has been done now and maybe it needs some sort of centerpiece, but apart from that It's a good design really. I liked the Valentines design a lot actually and it will be intresting to see what happens for easter ;)
Does it all near enough got to be all grey?
Can we get a little bit of color in it, creamy wall paper or posters that add some colour to it.
At the moment its all grey and the trees are no difference.

I think it looks fine... Maybe a little colour could be added. But I like the executive style. Maybe just change the colour of walls or something.

Spot on.
I think it suddenly looks very boring, because the vibrant valetines theme has gone. But before that, everyone I spoke to liked the room, and its more than suitable for its purpose.

When we take our Christmas decorations down, the room can often look bare, then we grow used to it again, which is probably what's happened here. Having said that, I do feel the room would possibly look better by removing 2 of the large sofas, replacing them with 4 single sofa chairs, using the freed up space for a couple of bonsai, and maybe adding an executive table, as a centre piece. Buy hey ho, what do I know ;)

@Ben ~ yes it's a help desk BUT the whole idea of the new layout is so that people can chill more and the layout need to reflect this ;)

The open space was intended for allowing people to interact and mingle. It is used a lot, not everyone sits down really everyones up and crossing the room. Its a nice space for socialising, especially when the room is full. With the Valentines Layout when we had the piano in the room it was quite an obstruction. A few plants wouldn't hurt though.

I agree that it should not look like the old HxHD but a more colourful design would be more appealing as at the moment it looks like a dull office instead of a bright, viberant room for a community of Habbo's to go and have fun.
Look even a few colour posters or 1 or 2 peices of furniture will enlighten me :)

I did say maybe an executive table, I don't think it's really needed, and as you say it keeps the space open which is probably better than cluttering the room, but it does needs a couple of plants. Good luck with it, best layout I've seen the room in, in a long time :)

Im sure everyone will get used to the desk being its usual self after such a fantastic valentines layout :)
