Fit and work in my Advent 4211 notebook?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1GB-DDR2-PC2-5300-DDR2-667MHz-Laptop-SODIMM-Memory-RAM_W0QQitemZ360131110080QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Com puting_Laptop_Memory_RAM_ET?hash=item360131110080&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72:1690|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1308

I checked on crucial.com and it gave me a link to one they sell which is £20?

but is this like the same as the one they offer?

Thanks.

Each memory slot can hold DDR2 PC2-5300 with a maximum of 1GB per slot.*

1GB DDR2 PC2-5300 DDR2 667MHz
so yes it'll work.

Thing is, I was reading on a forum and they said that I have 1GB on board RAM.

And I have only one slot to fit ram into this laptop as it's so small, so I'm thinking, is the one slot already taken up by the 1GB RAM that's it's already got?

I cba opening up, and tbh I don't know how as there's no places to unscrew so I can check up on the RAM slots ect...

It tells you on crucial didn't you check?

Slots: 1 (1 bank of 1)

So, I already have 1GB ram in it, is there any other slots where I could put another 1GB of ram?

Sorry, I'm not good with the internal PC stuff, in fact, I suck, lmao.

No, theres 1 slot if you have the 1GB in then thats it full.

So I'll need to get a 2GB ram for just the one slot, but I don't think my laptop supports 2GB RAM, does it?

You tell me:P (Embarrassed)

Ok I've read a tutorial online and they use 200 PINS:

http://netbookmag.com/2008/07/07/tutorial-advent-4211-memory-upgrade-msi-wind/

and know exactly what I'm doing now (thanks to Jewish Bear:P), but one last question unlike what they use in the tutorial I could only find this ram which is exactly the same as what they used but this is 240 PINS

http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/pcw_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0139346576.123509094 7@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccddadegidhgilicflgceggdhhmdgml.0&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&sku=067207&category_oid=-31443

Would this make a difference at all? would it DEFINITELY work?
