So I'm assuming you're watching them online. I tried watching all three in a row once, god it was a nightmare, but I had such an overwhelming feeling of satisfaction at the end I could have cried XD!
They're great films though, if I can't think of anything to stick on, I just pop in LoTR and relax :).
Yeh im watching online :P Its good so far :P I stopped on the last part went to play xbox.
Sameer!

I can say I have watched all 3 in a row, and it was damn satisfying. Really good if you have nothing to do.

first time ie ver watched them in the cinema i fell asleep to EVERY one and thoguht they were boring, then my friends convinced me to watch them again and i realised how epic the films actually are, and the extended editions are also great with added scenes (favourite being the gimli/legolas drinking scene which is HILARIOUS)

I'm not a fan of the first, it did nothing to maintain my interest and when the film rather abruptly ended, it left me disappointed after all the reviews I heard. I like the second two films, but I much prefer Peter Jackson's comedy-horror roots - Brain Dead/ The Dead Alive, Bad Taste.

I agree there was an abrupt ending, but they coudn't really wind it down considering it was going to be followed by another 6 hours worth of film (#2 and #3).
I personally thing they get better as they go along, but i know alot of people think #2 is crap

Indeed, but with that short, unfulfilling action scene after three hours of dialogue, I expected more.

Likewise. They really are an epic watch. There are very few trilogies (heck, very few fantasy films) that can match up to these.
My favourite has got to be the third... followed by the second... with the first coming in last place.

The first film is possibly the best in my opinion. It put everything in place, and it's where the journey began. So what if there was a lot of dialogue? It was amazing to just listen to, and the scenery is simply mindblowing.
I have all three films on normal DVD, and all of them again on collectable limited edition DVDs. The limited edition DVDs include the extended edition feature and exclusive extras. :8
I've watched each film like seven times, but I've never watched them all in a row.

Does that Wizzard live?
He's an immortal whos chosen to exist in a mortal body to help the people of middle earth, but he dies in the Mines in Moria, but comes back in the two towers as the new white wizard (most powerful level wizard since their ranks go in order of colour :P).
