So I redid my retro stacking room with a little newschool twist, and a view. Here is the old:

i think the area tower in the middle kind of kills it as it doesn't really match the rest of the room. also, the pod 'flag' with candles is really tacky [in my opinion] and would be better suited as a more flowing extension to the rest of the room ... as in part of the miniature city. the rest is cute though; in your defense i never liked this room when you made it originally either, so i'm not exactly inclined to like it now. needless to say, the skyscraper windows improve it exponentially.

You removed most of the rubbish parts but kept the biggest: the flag, which I don't like at all and tbh it looks nothing like the stars and stripes (where are the stars?)

people are just giving you tips on how to make the room look nicer because it's not that great. maybe by like 2006 standards when you made it originally?

Skyscraper is better. Living in new york I think its ok. the tower stands for the empire state building I suppose? and just cuz its new york doesn't mean you need to put american flag everywhere :l

If i saw that room like without the name i wouldn't think New York so i guess its good stacking but looks nothing like NY :( I like your other rooms more
