The artical can be found here (http://buzzedforum.freehostia.com/smf2/index.php?topic=3.0)

I found out today that girls aloud are planning to play at Jade Goody's wedding. The thing we were discussing is wether or not this is out of care for her situation or is it just another shameless media publicity stunt?

"We have had contact from Jade's people about performing at her wedding and now it's in the hands of our management.

We are desperately trying to re-arrange our schedule so we can do it. It's a very sad thing to have to discuss."

It sounds to me like Jade is the one who had asked for them to play at her wedding and that Girls Aloud would like to play for her because she hasn't long to live. It sounds genuine to me and I do not think it would matter if it were Jade Goody they were performing for, or any other 27 year old with cancer.

Obviously it will boost there publicity slightly but its bound to happen to anyone who would perform at her wedding.

They're performing because Jade asked them to, I can't see how it's a publicity stunt.

If they really wanted publicity they should of said no - that would have got the media talkin.

They are trying to get as much money for the wedding anyway so she can give it to support her sons

I don't understand why she wants to put her husband-to-be in so much pain (mentally) because she'll marry him, then pass away and he'll be left gutted :\

Because she obviousley doesnt want to die unmarried.

Its not like they werent going to get married until this... im sure he wants to do this as much as her.

I think her main concern is to get as much money as she possibly can to support her loved ones i mean thts obviously why she is selling her death to the papers.

She wants to enjoy her wedding and her last few weeks alive, so she invited Girls Aloud to her wedding, I don't see how that's a publicity stunt as I doubt any cameras will be filming the wedding, although they might because she wants to raise money for her kids but yeah, it's just as any other normal person hireing performers for their birthday/wedding/engagement

If you were in her situation you would do the same thing, I know I would, I would get as much money whilst I could for my children when they grow up as she is doing. I take my hat off to her.

James just go away if all youre gonna do is post the same comment over and over...

anyway, alexandra burke is supposedly playing, not to sure on source but read it somewhere. anyway, who cares, jades asked them to play not them asking to play

I agree, she is trusting her husband to be with her money, children, everything and this is her only chance to experience her own wedding.

She's put Girls Aloud in an awkward situation where they have to say yes otherwise if they say no, the papers will be slating them going "girls aloud say no to a womans dying wish blah blah".

I find it annoying how she's documentries and all this and publicising her illness. Kylie didn't publicise her illness, we didn't hear from for years then she made a huge comeback, but I guess Jade has been told she faces death and she's trying to raise money for her kids when she's gone.

that's an ignorant thing to say.
a) whether they get married or not, he'll still be gutted - they're in love
b) the legal benefits of being married give him much more of a useful position in regards to her affairs and estate after she is gone

So let me get this right... They didn't even play the wedding? Yet they still got all that good publicity that isn't fair is it?

And the hair comment is just heartless!

You've got to hand it to brave Jade Goody and fiance Jack who were out shopping for a wedding dress yesterday.

They do a ******* hilarious impersonation of Andy and Lou from Little Britain.

No Way! Yes, It May Give Them Some Publicity, But For All The Right Reasons. I Am Pretty Sick Of People Telling Jade Goody Jokes At School - It's Well Out Of Order.
