urggh, just completed Gta 4 with only 6 mission fails and 2 deaths.
Big gutted thought tbh, it was over too quick and the missions were mega easy, and the last one was annoying as i kept falling of the motorbike cos i hit a can thing while just about to go up the ramp.
What did you choose btw, at the end i chose Revenge, and killed Playboy X and Derrick(only for 20k to get 500k trohpy) :)
Now just gotta get to 100%, and get to rank10 in multiplayer to get the platinum trophy for all trophies.
i completed gta4 about 4-5 days ago and i agree the story is a bit easy and short; on previous gta's i would usually get stuck on a mission and not pass it for ages but i managed to do gta4 quite easily..
(Spoiler just incase anyone hasn't completed yet) i had also chosen revenge and killed playboy x as you get better rewards in the long term
i think i may go for the 100% trophy but thats so long -.-

I loved GTA But it was to short,
And I finished it in 31 hours or something? I missed out on the xbox 360 achievement i was like hour off or something

Nope, i got to the second island and stopped playing because trophies were coming out.. :$

Agreed. The fastest I heard someone completing it was like 21 hours? In todays games you're lucky if you get a 12 hour game, let alone a 21 hour game.
But in GTA Story line you need to do other stuff also get a car to get where you want to go, Police chase you. You need ammo etc that all adds up in time I barley done missions and I was on like 31 hours I just messed about alot.

Yeah but thats expected with GTA, other games they give it to you on a plate whereas GTA you can try and blow everything up, shoot your way from a far or use cover. It's GTA at the end of the day, always has been like that.

Ah! GTA, I'm not the last few missions, haven't bothered picking it up just only for the multiplayer. I like Saints Row 2. I just think some of the missions are repetitive.
well done :)
we have that game at home on 360, i love the little phone haha :)

In a serious game like GTA there isn't a lot else you can do, GTA San Andreas wasn't realistic at all, neither is Saints Row 2. GTA IV is.

i got to the 2nd island and stopped. then trophies came out and restarted. completed it in 24 hours and got the trophy for the 30 hour thing. im almost at 50% of the trophies usually just go on if im bored.
Is GTA 5 Coming out this year? If It was I wasnt going to get it but slayed the DLC Pfft I want 5 now.

Because it's an extension of GTAIV. It's not a whole new location, with a whole new story line with another 100 or so missions. At least; I think it's not.

There was 4 years between SA and IV, they're not gonna release one every year.
There could be one who said they will be making one EVERY year.

I thought that the storyline was pretty good, a good length for a game too.
Completed it for the first time back in April in 29hrs then completed it a few months ago in 18.

lol it must be glitched them people with 9 Hours on the social club (Exactly 9 hours, funny that...)
I reckon with a bit of know-how and no crap you could do it in 17 hours (Taxi's everywhere) and if you were very good at it, just about 15 hours.

My mate did it in 16 hours, but he just did mission after mission, not watching any of the videos, or messing about. Took me 31 hours so I didn't get the achievement. :( Spent too much time trying to make Michelle to like me, only to find shes working for the cops. :rolleyes:
im hating youtube right now :l they removed my gta dlc videos for copyright from take 2 games
Still haven't completed GTA 4 kind of on the second island but gave up lol

That's because they had to completely design the engine due to next gen console (e.g moving from Xbox/PS2 - X360/PS3). I think maybe around August - November 2010.
Back on topic, I completed the storyline (on my second playthrough) in 17 hours taking cabs everywhere and skipping most of the boring cutscenes but still watching the exciting ones e.g the bank scene. I accidentally overwrote my main save file with like %91 so I have had to start again, but I love playing it. Currently in the process of buying a capture card so I can record and upload stunt montages and glitches to youtube etc. I love GTA IV
