Well i have expressed this idea in the habbo survey and i think in some threads about the new trading update.
That habbo could make hacking nearly 99% gone, the only thing which could do it would be a keylogger.
And this idea is that, everytime you trade you should require and actuall password, a password that cannot be changed or requested by email, Habbo should express that as if you loose it their is nothing they can do as they can not control your memory.
So when opening a trade a password should be typed in, it must be different to the one used to log into client. And to stop you forgetting (this is a bit like the Windows login) It gives you a slightest hint to what the password will be (Your own fault if you make it obvious...)
This password should also be typed in when, Sending gifts & dropping furni to stop anyone moving accounts.
Most will think this will be annoying but, i think you'll find loosing an account worth of furni is more annoying.

I don't understand how this will improve anything? :eusa_eh: From what I can understand this method is just to inform people that Sulake cannot do anything, they made it 99% from their side, now the other 1% is for people to protect themselves? Just that?

No, it would protect your furni from being moved from accounts? You could move it yourself cause you would know the password.

I'd say 94% gone actually, and yes keylogging is on of the methods that still survives, but I believe there are still a few, and a genius will figure out how it is done.

when you get hacked people tend to know your password, ell they do because thats how they got onto your accounts its not stopping it its just makin it more harder to move furni.
hmhm. They should use the method that Runescape uses now. Bank Pins, But Access pins. Basically, When you log on, you require to enter a pin number, Not typed. Clicked in. Therefore keyloggers will struggle to get it (Unless it has a screenshotter in it)
This has worked for runescape.
Also, Pins should take 7 days to be changed.

I said it will not be the same as your habbo account password, and must people who hack habbo accounts change it from the original anyways.
Edit; And don't even know the original.

But you can still get keylogged so this method won't work at all. It won't make it harder as the hacker can sit down, and see all the passwords go through and try
each one.

I think you'll find keylogging is quite rare. And quite hard to get hold of a trusty one.
This would totally stop all other methods.

But habbo WOULD HAVE TO have some way of resetting it incase you forgot it so there really i no point init.

BUT Its your responsability, if you forget it its your problem, their would be a hint to remind you but if that doesn't even help its your own problem.
Must users are 13+ and can be responsable for their own actions, If they forget it they'll either have to remember it or give up.

if many users 13+ are soo smart and wont forget a password, why are they getting hacked in the first place

I said they are responsable not smart.
Responsable means excepting your own actions if their right or wrong.

ok w/e, but it would never happen without a passowrd reset for ir, so its pointless really.

Tbh if they can't remember a trading password they won't even be able to login to habbo if their that dumb.
They could even save it in notepad or write it down on paper.
People forget their habbo password and have to get it sent to them sometimes, therefore they are bound to forget this, and with no way to reset it, sulake will get thousands of phonecalls from parents etc
This idea is fail soz liam
and with no hacking how would people get furni! :O

I think there should be a 4 digit pin, not a password.

Yes but your trading pass has a hint and would not have to include numbers caps and can be like 3 letters.

Contradiction?
You've just said there's no other method just keylogging. Now you're saying this method will completely stop all other hacking methods.

LOL?
In my eyes, this idea will not work.
As suggested, a pin will work. Where you would have to click the digits on the screen.

a pin would work, and btw the 1% is the keylogger.
