Ive got a College interview in March, but i dont know what type of questions they are gona ask me,

any ideas?

More than likely it'll be an informal interview.

You'll just get questions about why you want to do the subjects you've applied for and what you want to do with your life.

Just stay cool & be yourself!

Well it may depend on what the college you are applying for and questions related what you may be learning in the course.

But specifically mainly information about you, they like candidates to be confident and talk about themselves etc.. One of the hardest things to answer i know! But be honest and don't say anything negative, just positives.

Try and think of loads of good and positive points and perhaps say how good you think the College is etc.

College interviews always sound scary, but they're not. Definetly informal talks. I worked both days on my Colleges Interview days and everyone was coming in suits & whatnot. Fact of the matter is, they want you to be their student and you have to be astoundingly bad to not get a placement during the interviews.

They go through like what you wanna do in the future and what you wanna take, thats all. Dont worry about it. :P

Had one today :),

Basically they look at what you applied for, and then look at our grades. They say if you don't get the required grades you should take course a and b and then maybe go on to do this and that.

Yeh, i had my interview on Tuesday, and they asked me around the same stuff aswell. Im getting a letter in 10 days to go back and have an audition because im doing drama, and then im having a proper interview. I hope it goes well (:

i have one soon too, but this is the second time round i'll be doing them so im not fussed about them. theyre normally quite nice and just ask you about what you wanna do, why you wanna do the course.

Well, I applied for three colleges because we had too, luckily the one I put down as my 2nd choice only gives interviews to those that put it as their 1st choice, and my 3rd choice only gives interviews to those that put it as their 1st and 2nd choice.

My 1st choice was the Sixth Form to my current school, and that was really informal. We were allowed to dress however we wanted and such. I just got asked what I plan to do in the future (A Levels and beyond), why do I want to go to that college and what I think about myself and such.

They will ask you why you want to do this course, what interest you have and stuff like that
