right my voulme is gone bust on laptop right when im playing music or a video i cant here it ive checkd its not on mute rep if u help me fix the problem

Make sure your sound drivers haven't gone bezerk by downloading them from the laptop manufacturer's website, failing that reboot the laptop and if it doesn't work cry or use one of the more useful suggestions someone else will probably post :P

Try a system restore for afew days back :) fixed mine when this happened to my laptop.

to add to these make sure the master volume is actually up and not muted :P
