Oh you love the play on words.

Anyway, i watched like the first 3 episodes of LOST and then just watched one then on Sky 1, and TBH i have no idea what it is about.

Could someone write a full-ish explanation of it, from all the series, with the main things, i know like there is a kind magnet thing on there, and they're going back there, But i want to get up to speed so i can start watching it, I tried googling it but all i get is something like 'LOST: A Bloggers View' and tbh i couldn't care less if they think the science of it isn't realistic.

Thanks, +Rep.

Lost is an American serial drama (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_%28radio_and_television%29) television series (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Television_program). It follows the lives of plane crash (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plane_crash) survivors on a mysterious tropical island (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropical_island), after a commercial passenger jet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oceanic_Flight_815) flying between Sydney, Australia and Los Angeles, United States crashes somewhere in the South Pacific (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oceania). For the first three seasons each episode typically featured a primary storyline on the island as well as a secondary storyline from a previous point (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flashback_%28literary_technique%29) in a character's life, though the introduction of shifts forward in time (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flashforward) and other time-related plot devices somewhat changed this formula for the latter half of the series.

Its probably better and more enjoyable to actually watch all the episodes from the beginning - and it will make sense more that way too. I don't think you can just "read your way through Lost".

i doubt many people can remember everything from all the series
i'd watch through it all from the start, it'll be much easier to understand. having said that, lost is that most confusing show on tv, but yeah :P
