I think apple themselves do replacements for dead pixels.
Have a check on their website.

If you can, go to an apple store instead.

Carphone warehouse will just send it to their repairs (who cant acctually do anything) they'll then send it to apple, Who will replace it, Then apple will send it backt o the repair centre, who will then send it back to carphone warehouse.

Took over a month for dads iPhone to be replaced via carphone, i highly reccomend going straight to apple, even if it is quite a journey to make.

Or contact Apple by their website for repairs (AppleCare or something) and they'll get UPS to collect it. ^Applying to Ash's answer^

Surely it's a hardware problem, not a software/application problem?

seeing they are green, they may be stuck. So something that cycles different colours may help fix it.

Stick your iPhones serial number and your country in there if you bought the phone of ebay or something you might want to contact the selling asking what country they bought it in.

That page will show you if Apple will replace your screen for free, if they wont, contact the carphone warehouse because you said you have insurance with them? Ask them if you can send the phone straight to Apple.

Go to the Genius Bar - they are very good and might replace if you ask nicely.

Yeah, they might just be stuck. I have dead ones on my touch, they are black.

Try a dead pixel APP first

green pixels aren't dead as Chris said they are stuck just find (can't remember what website) there is a site that flashes different colours to get it unstuck, I some times get it.

You can use the flash light thing too, which has loads of diff colours and you can just switch them real quick.
