Hi there;
First of all, thanks for reading. You probably don't hear it so often, but every single second you spend reading this thread will never come back around, it's your life.. so I thank you for taking the time to do this.

My little idea would be an Application 'Store' as such, nothing Mobile such as the Apple App Store, but a general Windows Application/Game store;

Where creators could sell their Product, and as much as offer it for free, via a Downloadable Program.

Users could then easily navigate through Free Software, Paid Software, and Discounts would be offered on a regular basis.

In return for a Merchant selling their goods via the service, they would pay a low amount of commision, recieve Reviews etc.

I am now asking you whether you think there is room for such a service, whether this gap could be filled with a more fluid, easy navigational system; Downloading products for free, or paying for them securely..

Any, and I mean any comments at all are welcome, including any links to services of this nature..
Thanks again.

Granted, but I'm working towards an actual Application to be downloaded, not just a Web Service. In this you could Buy in one place..

Well technically you are..
It's just all bunched in a lot easier place.

I could always take into consideration a Browser version aswell as an Executable of course.

Yeh its a good idea.

Reason being that it gives young application creaters the chance to share there work other than just on a forum. Because these young creaters have not released there product around many sites users might of been wanting a program like the creator has made but cant find it.

I think you should go on with this site, if you need any help then just PM me.

Good luck!

Thank you for being so constructive, much appreciated.

Yes, Developers of any kind could benefit from a platform in which to promote their works, and we would consider any kind of ideas.

Not really a good idea, it's covered by Download and Softpedia. Making me download something to download something else is a hassle. I already have a web browser obviously so just let me browse from that.

It's a good concept, but people wouldn't go for it.

Too many people want to hack there programs and torrent them so it probably wouldn't take off anyway.

i like the idea, But if you go ahead, you've got to look into major security issue's and copyright's it could breach. You'd have to have permission from many different companies to display and sell the software, and im positive with amatuer software, there are still restrictions that apply, freeware or not, but all the same, good luck, i think i'd download if you released it :)

Thanks a lot;
Any sales, as I'm told; would go to the relevant Software Author, payment would be commision based.
