Download 2009

Anyone going? I've never been before as I'm not a massive rock/metal fan but the lineup this year looks good (to me) and is full of bands from younger days so I can full on pretend I'm 14 or something. So far lineup includes:

The lineup is so bad this year so far

I went '05/'06/'07 and they were awsome, Bands released atm are like my dads music rofl

Hope to see abit of Billy Talent/Alexis/Finch/SotY/Silverstein etc..

Also hope Bowlin for soup are playing as they are funny as, more of a stand up than music ;]

Billy Talent wont go, they're album is released in June and Im sure they'll be preparing for it. I'd love it if they did though cause they'd play they're whole new album.

Meh, only half decent ones in there are Limp Bizkit and Trivium. Rest are worse than decent/never heard them.

i wouldn't go to download ever tbh. i dont like any of the bands tom posted at the top, and i dont like the idea of hanging out with bearded metallers for the weekend. i'd much rather go to reading

Downloads never really appealed to me, lots of bands that I love are going but Sonisphere is looking to be much better, it's very close to where I live aswell which is a plus, also I can't say no to Avenged Sevenfold. :P

Looks a good lineup but I wont go. People dont get that Reading & Leeds is the one for bands who were once at Download, and Download has focused more on the hard rock bands which it should've been in the first place.

Might be going V Festival though!

I seriously want to go but I got no money and I have an exam on the first day which means I would miss KoRn, Limp Bizkit and The Blackout :'(
