Is there a site you can get them cheap, I dont fancy paying £20 onwards really :(
If you're not willing to spend money just keep using an ethernet lead, they're expensive for a reason :P If you don't wanna buy one try score one off M$ for free.

I already got one of MS but i doubt it will work again :{
If someone could score one of MS and send it to me i'd pay £20 ;]
Ross
If someone could score one off of Microsoft they'd pop it on eBay for a starting bid of like £35, it'll deffo go up to about £40 lol :P

Are they even good quality?
Well it's wireless so yeah, I didn't really lag with it, I used to get a fairly good connection considering I could only get 1-2 bars in my bedroom.

Lead is obviously faster but then again there must be a way i can get it online, its downstairs and the router is upstairs so yh no chance of wires
You've got a laptop? Use that as your wireless, hook and ethernet lead up to, keep it by your Xbox so you can talk on MSN etc while you game then just bridge the networks. There's a stickied guide under Microsoft.
Buy a bigger lead.. lol
We had a 24ft one,
One was going to the router downstairs and lead going upstairs to josh's room.

£50 for a wireless adapter is expensive actually :)
If you don't wanna buy £50 for wireless, no one's forcing you to, but there is a lot of people who will pay £50 for it, but you're tight Ross, it's retailed at £50-£60 and you think people will put it on sites for £20 l0l.

No, it isnt.
£60 is very expensive for a USB wireless adapter  MS are just taking as much of your money as they can.

Get it for £20, thats cheap. I paid £50 for mine from Ebay.
Did you even read the thread? No. Christ.
£50-£60 is cheap considering its a microsoft product, if your not considering spending over £20 then i would assume using a laptop bridged to your xbox, if you dont want one, then get a bigger ethernet cable, if not dont complain about the price

I dont see why you want one. They are pretty crap imo. My router is in the comp room an xbox is room next door an i have to have the router facing outwards with the doors open to pick up signal an if the router gets moved a bit i lag an d.c
Do it my way and get it for free:
Sister's boyfriend got one, ask for it, keep moaning he eventually lends you it. You next see him, refuse to give it back, he lets you keep it!
That worked for me :)
No but, idk what u can do, try my idea :)
It worked for me!!!
could just do the old calling microsoft trick.
