Showing Images

Hello,
I wonder if anyone could help me find a code/program that you can use on your website for images.
Example I have a photo album site, and people click the image. Then I want the image to open in the same window, but with a black transparent background arond it.
Then they can click anywhere to close it.

Do you know where I can find this?

I don't know of such a standalone program, but if u use Joomla! you can get that sort of extension, maybe there is a program but I've never came across 1.

hmmm there might be on fantastico, I can't remember been so long since I last used that. But I'm sure if you googled it or even checked cpanel it might come up with something.
