What's up with the 3 mods in that section? none of them seem to be doing a very good job.

look at all the pointless threads there.

can't remember the last time i saw a moderator edit a post in that section :S

They arn't breaking any rules so they don't need to be edited.

Andys

they are clearly pointless threads.

Yes but posting that your going to a game/got tickets to a game isn't breaking any rules.

Pointless threads can only be dealt with by Smods so they just need to be reported.

Andys

but its obvious that they are taking the piss out of the other posts, therefore they are pointless threads which could be seen as posting to get their post count up

if they have a point theyre not pointless.. yeh, theres a lot of them but just deal with it lol.

,Jess,

But they are still classed as pointless which Smods are supposed to deal with. If you PM links to all the pointless ones I'll close them. Or you could just report them like I said.

It's crazy the lack of moderation in there really. There are so many posts which go ignored which deserve negative sanctions. I could report all the threads of the moderation team could do what they're hired to do and sort things out. The latter being the preferred option, my preference anyway.

It would probably be easier for the threads to be reported than for me to look through the 20 on the page.

It seems to of completely gone over Brandon's head tbh, he's usually posting there and has so far done jack **** about all the nonsense there.

It's not always obvious. Looking through thoses sections there are bits that I have no clue about and that I wouldn't know if they were pointless or not so I can see why a smod wouldn't want to edit posts which they were uncertain about. It's best just to report them so it's more obvious to a smod which posts are pointless.

I try and check the Forum as much as possible, however I am officially away at the moment as I have things going on at home. It would be helpful, if you are concerned about the situation in the Sports and Hobbies Forum, to report posts as they will definitely be dealt with in those situations. Alternatively you could PM a Moderator.

We don't rely on post reports but they do help loads, mods can't notice everything that's going on and I'm only speaking for myself but I don't use the sports section at all so it's very unlikely I would notice any rulebreaks in there.

Whilst that may be true, it's not his job to deal with rule breaking since he's not a moderator. Obviously, if someone posted porn or was bullying another member he'd deal with it but he leaves the small rule breaking for the moderators to deal with.

I'm sure that if you reported the threads / posts (or as mentioned above,) PMed a moderator of that section then it would be sorted by somebody :)

Brandon isn't a moderator he's a VIPs editor, he isn't meant to moderate forums ;)

Okay first of all, where does it say in the rules you can't post threads about your tickets. What am I meant to do, edit and say don't post about them and besides, minor rule breaking like that isn't top of my priorities. There was me thinking I could read threads casually and leave minor rule breaking to those whose job it is to deal with it.
Secondly, when my role is moderator of the Sports forum let me know. My main role is VIP editing and I do that efficiently. Sorry for being an active poster, I post in the Sports forum to contribute and not to deal with the rubbish. Oh wait because I'm one of the few mods/admins to contribute there the responsibility must lie with me, not the three moderators of the forum.

And yes, you are responsible as I could do a better job than the mods in the sports section with my screen turned off.

Mate, you cannot talk about pointless posting. You post saying two letters, "GL :D" and other crap like that.

Mate, you cannot talk about pointless posting. You post saying two letters, "GL :D" and other crap like that.I second this, this week you've been getting your post count up at every opportunity, just about done it within the rules but the threads in World News etc are just not needed, became a total idiot within days.

That goes to show my point exactly, it's been clear this week you've been getting your Post Count up and that has proved it.

Kids, remember this shows you can always achieve whatever you like. If you wish to be top poster for a week, you can spam the forum and get away with it, all it takes is a lot of wasted time for something which means very little other than your a spamming fool.

All my posts are significant to the thread or another post in the thread thus not breaking the rules. Maybe you haven't read them?! I think you're still hurting from the -rep :eusa_clap

On the topic of -rep I've received some from Brandon, how fair is that considering he's reputation manager?

Sorry, I forgot you were supposed to forget things from a few days ago. Don't start the "I don't care" attitude because I've never seen someone get so worked up over a Habbo related forum. It was cute but now you're getting a tad too hyper.

Quality not quantity! You wouldn't have a problem if I had said "oooooooh, I don't hate it, nor dislike it but I love it". Whereas "loves it" or whatever it was gets the same message across.
