CH closed!

Don't know if it's been posted here but clubhabbo radio and news have closed and from now on they're just having a forum. Thought it'd be of interest to some of you seeing as some use it and it's a gold tier official fansite.

Skaterchu made an announcement over on CHF those who care explaining all. It was very well managed the years it was opened and in all fairness was a good fansite.

I think it was coming considering SkaterChu is obviously getting older and seeing as he did a lot of stuff around his fansite he wasn't going to want to do it forever. Nice to see the forum staying open which has been just as busy as HxF lately from what I've seen.

However much I didn't like the feel of CH I think that it's a shame to see such a popular and high quality fansite radio close.
It's good that they still have their forum which I agree seems to be gettiing more popular!

Honestly, I think alot of people saw it coming. But however much you disliked it, you have to admit it was pretty successful.

Most fansites only dream of having the success of Habbox, CH & TH.

That's good news for radios like HFFM and HxL because we get the listeners and have already noticed more people are tuning in, which is great for us. But i did tune into CH a couple of times and they were that bad they were diffrent to habbox and that's why some people liked them. They're forum is ok but no where near as good as this one so yeah best of luck to them :D

Clubhabbo was a brilliant site, i did use to follow it in 06 just before thinkhabbo closed. I think Ryan (Skaterchu) and the staff there have done and will most likely carry on and do a fantastic job on the site. People saying HabboxLive is getting more listeners, i have to dissagree i think the only reason because of that is the radio was put on www.Habbox.com (http://www.Habbox.com) and just go there to see the values.

I think now with Clubhabbo Slightly going the main fansites out there now are

www.Habbox.com (http://www.Habbox.com)
www.HFFM.co.uk (http://www.HFFM.co.uk)

But i am sure www.Clubhabbo.net (http://www.Clubhabbo.net) will go on to be a good fight for www.Habboxforum.com (http://www.Habboxforum.com) and may just get as popular with more people joing clubhabboforum just as much.

Also i think Habbox has a rivalist as HHGS is also gaining in members and it's Value system is updated daily. Even if rumours are that habbox/HHGS fix values. these sites will always control habbo currency.

It's been months since that happend and it made a slight effect but not many mabye 10 or so listeners. We were getiing 200 before this happened now we have 300 every night, so yes we have got more listeners and it's not just from values because people have come to me in party rooms saying they're from CH :D

HabboHut still exists?! Never heard of Habboom. Only two successful fansites in my honest opinion (not including CH) are HFFM and Habbox

CH was such a good site which had a good community. I think it'll follow the path of TH and just slowly die out.

Anyone think that he'll just give up on Habbo altogether and change it to a non-Habbo forum? I know a site that did that and now they suck really so I hope not!

I used to be an articles writer/news reporter there and despite what some people say about the management, the majority I spoke to were really nice, so I'm a bit sad to see it go (just a bit though. It's still just a fansite at the end of the day. I won't need to get the tissues out :D).
