Hey guys,

Recently my girlfriend has been infected with that hi5 images thing.

I was just wondering, how you actually get rid of it? im going to take control over her pc and fix it for her.

Its one of thoes links that pops up without the tpyer knowing say like
"is this you haha <link here>"

Ohhh, that one is a pain in the.... motherboard :x
There are 2 things you can do.

1. Remove and Reinstall MSN. This 'could' fix the problem.

If it doesn't:

2. I seriously have no idea. http://www.trap17.com/index.php/how-remove-4-different-msn-messenger-viruss_t20262.html 'Might' be what the problem is, if not there are links on that site to other 'hi5' things.

seen that, but i found the actuall thing that "may" work:

it looks promising, i could remove it myself manuyally, i dontthink it clings onto the motherboard

That should work!
Also just run a free virus/malware/spyware/adware scan.
And 'Pain in the... motherboard' is just a saying :)

ah thts a good saying.

I know wut should run in the regisry key, and any windows service shouldn't! by finding out the key, i can delete, restart then with teh key find the file path and delete!

Just make sure you know what you're doing! Deleting files off a computer, or messing with the registry can have server impact on the computers function if you don't know how to do it properly.

I' know what im doing, i always make backups before doing complex work like this. Thanks alot though, Swinkid.
