English History Resit paper.... most the class took it because the examiner managed to give us all D's for that exam when the Document Study paper was the same question just with sources to use...

I was 1 mark off of an A for the whole course last year and I got a A in my other two modules so an A in this resit could mean easier to get an A this year :)

same with out ICT exam really.. paper 1 i got a U in it, even though paper two was far harder and you need module 1 to do module two lol. i think 7/8 got a U an donly 3 people re took lol

What do you mean by fast track? Well I did the 3 AS general studies modules in June 08 and somehow managed an A overall, and my tutor asked me if i wanted to do the 3 A2 modules Jan 09 so I said yeah, might as well as its no extra work and i've had no lessons. So i'll actually get my overall grade for general studies this thurday :O

What were your 8 modules? and which one you think the U's in :P

I don't want to predict my score on any modules or comment because I always seem to get it completely wrong and I worry abot dodgy marking :eusa_whis

our school does a fast track GS. if you drop a subject from yr 12 to 13, you do the full course, AS and A2 in year 13 so 6 modules lol.

i did 2 maths, 3 biology, 2 business and economics and 1 ICT. my A2 modules were 1 from the first 3 lol. And the U is module 3 in biology, another retake lol. i h8 it, dont know why i carried it on :P

well to some extent i agree with her as i want to go to a certain uni which requires a B minimum. so by me getting a C in this exam (theres only 2 exams), it'll make it harder for me to get a B overall.

I understand that you have targets but it's a bit harsh of her to put so much pressure on you. You tried your best, if you don't make the grade you can always go to another uni. Make your own choices regarding resits.

yeah. i was thinking about resitting it anyway, but i wasn't too sure whether i would or not. i just hope i get a b anyway. mainly because im one of the top students in my class, and if i got a c it'd be like :$. plus the next exam is supposed to be harder lol.

nope. but loads of my mates did and failed lololol. besides 1 anyway. the majority failed the exam. the dept were like its a "cause for concern" and have ordered/requested the papers to be returned as they usually get top grades. so they think something went wrong when it came to marking or woteva

Well, i can say if i were taught them i'd still end up getting 2 E's in them lol I find them incredibly hard :P So I respect people who do well in subjects I am awful at.

Depends on the syllabus. Mine is AQA spec B and i think it's out of 120 UMS but i'm not sure.
