I'm finally starting the upgrades I posted about a while ago, pretty much everything has changed since then, so here's what I'm getting:

I'm gonna start buying them as of next week, it will go like this:
1) Case & GFX Cooler (Next week)
2) New GFX Card
3) Raid Controller
4) 6 HDD's (maybe 3 at a time).
Then it should be done.
What I want from you:
Your opinions / what could be changed. (The case is non negotiable unless you can find a quiet full tower case with at least 7 hdd slots)

very good case choice. Lian Li are supreme.
I would be wary of Asus. Many people have had various issues with their boards and they say their support isn't much good either. I would recommend the Gigabyte EP45-UD3P over any other board. Great thing is it is crossfire capable which is perfect if you want to add another 4870 at some point. It has set a dozen overclocking records. It is described to be the "god" of overclocking. I recall you saying you were going to overclock (forgive me if I am mistaken) so this should be in your best interests.

Doesn't that only support DDR3 RAM though?
Everything else looks good. Aria have got 4870s on SuperSpecials at the moment. http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/Club+3D+ATI+Radeon+HD+4870+1024MB+PCI-E2.0+?productId=33741 http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/XFX+Radeon+HD4870+1GB+PCI-E+2.0+?productId=34717

Nope, it's a DDR2 board
Ill repeat what I said before but you do not need a raid controller like that. The one you are planning on buying is designed for server solutions - not a desktop. To start with you're wasting your money completly on the SAS support since SCSI/Serial attached SCSI drives cost the earth (We are talking £500+ for a 450GB one with 15,000k speed) and are designed for high performance servers.
Since I assume you want raid, what configuration are you planning to put it in?

I think he is going to have more than one type of RAID running at the same time. In that case, an onboard controller just aint gonna cut it.

It'll be going in RAID 50.

The first Gigabyte board I ever bought (last year) died in two weeks, I got an ASUS board and its been perfect, although ASUS' driver support is a bit ****** so you have to go round the companies getting the drivers.

Tell me about it, I have a P5Q at the moment, looks like I'm gonna be getting the WS as I've found a PCI-X RAID card which is a bit cheaper.
It's this one:

Yes, not right now though, I will do a crapp webcam screenshot tomorrow, and I will probably buy a Mini SD reader to transfer images from my phone. I'll see about taking one now & emailing it to myself. Stay tuned.

It should be about that, perhaps lower due to 1tb disks actually being 931gb. It was the only mobo I could find within 20 seconds.

It depends on how you define Tera. If you define it as 10^12 then it's right, which is what manufacturers do. If you define it as 2^40 then you get a lower amount and you could call it a tebibyte (TiB), but you probably already know this :P.
